The long out-of-print ACID DIXIE CD has just been uploaded to all digital platforms, including Amazon Music, YouTube, Apple. Music, Spotify and literally 150 other sites.

This recording was made on June 5, 1992 at AppleJazz and was beautifully mixed and recorded direct to DAT by Jim Vurraro.

To make the audio files current for today’s digital standards, I went to the studio of Kendall S Thomsen for remastering. The sound is much improved from 1992’s audio quality, and although we could not remix anything, we made the recording a bit more elegant sounding than the gritty digital standards of 30+ years ago.

This was a lot of fun to listen to and reminisce about the past history and fun of “Your summer officially begins with AppleJazz.”

Hope it brings you some pleasant memories from the AppleJazz past.
